CPA 2021/2022 Budget


For the 2021/2022 school year, the CPA has a budget of $14,200. Below is an overview of where these funds will be spend during the year.

Classroom Support | $6,200

Provides each challenge or highly capable teacher a stipend for art project supplies, games, books and other student enrichment items for their students

Curriculum Enrichment | $3,000

Offers a grant program that supports purchasing book sets, sciences materials, math enrichment materials, classroom libraries and other enrichment

Community Building | $2,050

Organizes meet-ups during the summer and family grade specific gatherings during the school year to connect students and families

Educational Opportunities | $1,500

Provides educational opportunities for parents with industry speaker, panels, movies or other

General Operations | $850

Includes insurance, website, PO Box, postage and any other supplies needed

Advocacy Programs | $600

Supports advocacy efforts by donating to associations and participating in Gifted Education Day activities

Each year the CPA holds an “ask” fundraiser to fund our mission of supporting the teachers, students, and parents of the Challenge Program. This year’s theme: The Great (mini) Pumpkin Giveaway.


Money raised during our CPA fundraiser determines the budget for the following year.
